Welcome! Our Dual Enrollment Program provides home-schooled high school students an affordable opportunity to earn college credits while completing their high school education. This program allows you to take college-level courses, giving you a head start on your academic journey and preparing you for higher education. With reduced tuition rates, college becomes more accessible, enabling you to explore diverse subjects and fulfill your high school graduation requirements.

Thank you for your interest in Dual Enrollment at FGC!
Eligibility Criteria for Students:
- You are enrolled as a student in a home education program. (grades 6-12).
- Achieve a minimum score on standard placement tests for college credit courses, as outlined in Rule 6A-14.064, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.).
- Meet any additional eligibility criteria specified by the postsecondary institution
in the Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreement.
- Cannot be scheduled to graduate before completing the dual enrollment course.
- Any additional eligibility requirements or limits on dual enrollment participation based on grade levels must ensure college readiness.
- Requirements should not arbitrarily prohibit students who have demonstrated the ability to master advanced courses from participating.
- College-level placement test scores in Reading, English, and Math.
- Attend Dual Enrollment meetings if required by your education program.
- Take the PERT placement test, if applicable.
- A.C.T. or S.A.T. scores may also be used to meet placement requirements.
Submit the following to the Dual Enrollment office for review:
- Completed DE Application
- Submit application on or before the semester admission deadline.
- Eligible Test Scores
Letter of Acceptance:
Your acceptance letter will include important information, such as your login details
for accessing the MyFGC portal and other essential information such as:
- Instructions for accessing the DE New Student Orientation can be found under the "New Dual Enrollment Students" section.
- Information on how to run a degree evaluation, check the schedule planner, and transfer information.
- Please get in touch with the DE office to register for the homeschool articulation agreement meeting.
- Call us at 386-754-4300 and have your Student ID number ready.
