Human Resources

The Human Resources Department is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, creating the personnel budget, administering risk management insurance programs, recruiting and hiring staff, and maintaining comprehensive records for all college employees, including retirement plans. The HR office collaborates with the Report Coordinator to gather information and prepare state and federal reports related to the college's personnel.

In line with Florida Gateway College's commitment to fostering a healthy and safe environment, the Human Resources Department oversees the College's Workplace Wellness Program. Additionally, the Executive Director of Human Resources serves as the College's Civil Rights and Compliance Officer.

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to recruit and hire highly qualified faculty and staff. HR is dedicated to serving and assisting both employees and applicants.
