Fire Officer Supervisor – C.C.C.

This 12 credit hour certificate is a limited access program designed to incorporate the theory and applications required to become a state credentialed Fire Officer. The program provides opportunities to increase an operator’s skills and knowledge, while preparing firefighters for future managerial and leadership roles. This program is beneficial to those seeking career advancement in the field of fire science. Students who complete FGC’s Fire Officer Supervisor Career Certificate Program will have completed the coursework necessary for the Certificate of Competency test for Fire Officer I through the Florida State Fire College. Additional requirements outside of this certificate are required for Fire Officer I certification and details are available on the Florida Fire Board of Standards Training website. These courses also apply towards the Fire Science Technology A.S. degree.
