Criminal Justice Specialist

The mission of the Associate in Science in Criminal Justice Technology degree program is to prepare students for employment in the criminal justice profession, including careers in law enforcement, corrections, private security, juvenile justice, and probation and parole. By completing this program, you will be required to complete some of the required courses for the Homeland Security Specialist, C.C.C., and the Criminal Justice Technology Specialist, C.C.C. as part of your A.S. in Criminal Justice Degree. These courses count towards both and would not have to be repeated, bringing you steps closer to one of FGC’s certificates.

  • Communications Officer: $36,000 - $51,790 annually
  • Police Officer: $40,000 - $80,000 annually
  • Deputy Sheriff: $35,000 - $66,875 annually
  • Detention Officer: $45,000 - $93,000 annually
  • Corrections Officer: $45,000 - $93,000 annually
