Graduation Information

FGC president and graduate in regalia

To officially graduate and receive your diploma or certificate, all students must apply for graduation. FGC also hosts a formal commencement ceremony each semester (fall, spring and summer) to honor graduates. This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate your hard work with family, friends, faculty, and fellow students.

Submit your Graduation Application

Meet with your advisor to ensure your program’s requirements will be met by the end of the term you plan to graduate. You will complete your graduation application at the appointment, have it signed by your advisor, and then submit it to Enrollment Services in Building 15. If you do not know who your assigned advisor is, please contact general advising at 386-754-4222. Note: Your graduation application must be received in Enrollment Services by the published graduation application deadline found on the Academic Calendar for your name to be included in the printed commencement program.

Your application will be reviewed following the end of semester for which you're graduating and degree/certificate will be awarded once requirements are confirmed. A digital and printed diplomas will be provided within 6 weeks of the end of term.
