The Water Resources Management program is designed to advance students interested in the environmental sciences into water resources and conservation. This degree is part of public administration and part water resources. There is a growing demand for jobs in the environmental field. These positions offer our graduates a chance at a “green” career with a purpose that makes a difference in the health and well-being of their community. With careers in water conservation, natural resources, environmental science, and even agriculture, the opportunities are almost endless.

FGC water resource management graduates are initiating or advancing their careers as water resource managers, hydrologists, water conservation specialists, policy analysts for water management, stormwater management specialists, and natural resource managers.

STARTING SALARIES

Median salaries for graduates of this program range from approximately $47,000 to $80,000. These salaries may vary depending on geographic location, experience level, and specific industry within the water resources sector.

 

 

Graduates from FGC's Associate of Science in Environmental Science Technology and the Associate of Science in Agribusiness Management are eligible for admission into the Water Resources Management, B.A.S.

Students with a valid water distribution, water treatment and/or wastewater treatment license are eligible for to up to 25 elective credits in the B.A.S. program depending on the level(s) and after completing 15 credits of course work at FGC.
