This prediction is according to emergency management officials. Florida Gateway College will be open for classes on Wednesday, September 4th. 2:30 PM Friday, August 30th Campus Community, Due to the expected approach of Hurricane Dorian, Florida Gateway College, including residence halls and all center locations, will be closed and all classes canceled on Tuesday, Sept. 3. This is in addition to the previously scheduled closure on Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day. We encourage our students, employees, and the community to monitor local and national news and emergency management departments and to take appropriate precautions as advised by state and local emergency management officials. Students and employees are encouraged to monitor the college website, your college email account, and social media channels for updates on college operations. Stay safe. **FGC’s Saturday Cosmetology class will still be held as scheduled. 11:30 PM Thursday, August 29th We are preparing the campus for the possibility of Hurricane Dorian and will continue to monitor it’s path.
