PTK is a national honor society that recognizes students for academic achievement at two-year colleges. “We created this program because we believe strongly in the mission of Phi Theta Kappa and want as many students as possible to receive the benefits of membership,” said Lynn Tincher-Ladner, Ph.D., President and CEO of PTK, “including scholarships and increased opportunities for engagement with peers and faculty on campus which lead to higher rates of completion.” Along with the honor, FGC will receive PTK graduation stoles to be worn by chapter officers and members during graduation ceremonies.
